This test measures small amounts of albumin (a protein) in the urine that aren’t detected by standard urine tests. Its presence can be one of the earliest signs of kidney damage, especially in people with diabetes or high blood pressure.

Creatinine Clearance measures how efficiently your kidneys filter creatinine from the blood, using both a blood sample and a timed urine collection. It gives a more precise estimate of the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) than a blood creatinine test alone.
