How to prepare

  1. 1
Abstinence period required: Avoid ejaculation for 2-5 days before the test for accurate results.
  2. 2
Avoid alcohol and smoking for a few days before the test, as they can affect sperm quality.
  3. 3
Inform about medications: Tell our technician about any medications, supplements, or recent illness/fever, as fever in the past 2-3 months can temporarily lower sperm count.
  4. 4
Sample collection: Provide the sample in a sterile container, ideally at the lab, since the sample must be analyzed within 30-60 minutes of collection.
