Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH)
LDH is an enzyme found in almost all body tissues, including the heart, liver, muscles, and blood cells. Elevated LDH levels can indicate tissue damage from a variety of causes, including heart attack, liver disease, or blood disorders.
Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB)
CK-MB is a specific form of the Creatine Kinase enzyme found mainly in heart muscle. Unlike total CK, it is more specific to heart injury, making it useful for confirming a heart attack, especially when measured alongside Troponin.
